FR. BENEDICT GROESCHEL, C.F.R. is loved around the world for his bold and powerful witness to the Gospel. Fr. Groeschel is Director for the Office for Spiritual Development for the Archdiocese of New York. He earned his doctorate in psychology from Columbia University in 1971 and is also professor of pastoral psychology at St. Joseph's Seminary of the Archdiocese of New York. He has tirelessly worked with the poor and needy, spoken to tens of thousands of Catholics, and written numerous books, and appears regularly on EWTN. In 1987 he founded, with eight other friars, the community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. The Community, which follows the Capuchian Tradition, now has over eighty friars and sisters. It is dedicated to preaching reform within the Church and caring for the homeless in the South Bronx and Harlem sections of New York City, as well as in London and Honduras. He is also chairman of the Good Counsel Homes and the St. Francis House, which provides residence and programs for homeless young mothers and homeless youth. For fourteen years, Fr. Groeschel served as chaplain of the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

KIMBERLY HAHN is the daughter of a Protestant minister, who herself received an M.A. degree in theology at the same Protestant seminary her husband Scott attended. It was Kimberly's own, almost accidental discovery of the truth of the Catholic teaching on birth control that led her husband to re-think his own unquestioning opposition to Catholicism.

DR. SCOTT HAHN is a popular author, speaker and professor of Scripture and Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. A former Presbyterian Minister, he converted to the Catholic Faith in 1986. Some of his best-selling books include The Lamb's Supper, Hail Holy Queen, and Scripture Matters: Reading the Bible from the Heart of the Church. Dr. Hahn is the founder and president of the Saint Paul Center for Biblical Theology. He has over seventy-five Catholic tape series available from St. Joseph Communications.

MOTHER TERESA was born as Agnes Bojaxhiu from one of Europe's poorest regions in Macedonia. On May 24, 1931, she made her first vows, choosing the name Sister Mary Teresa in honor of Teresa of Avila and Thérèse de Lisieux. In 1950, Teresa received Vatican permission to start her own order, which later became known as the Missionaries of Charity. It began as a small Order with 12 members in Calcutta and today it has more than 4,000 nuns operating 610 missions in 123 countries, and has over one million workers employed by the Missionaries of Charity. In 1971, Pope Paul VI awarded her the first Pope John XXIII Peace Prize. Other awards bestowed upon her included the United States Presidential Medal of Freedom (1985) and the Nobel Peace Prize. Teresa was formally beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 19, 2003 with the title Blessed Teresa of Calcutta.
