Mary the Handmaid of The Lord

Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta was known throughout the world as someone totally committed to the Gospel. She left comfortable surroundings to respond to Christ’s call to work in the slums and serve the “poorest of the poor.” In this inspiring talk, Mother Teresa shares her insights on the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model of womanhood and perfect discipleship. Through her ‘Fiat” at the Annunciation and lived throughout her entire life, Mary shows us that we, too, can do the will of God by saying “yes” to the Lord in the little things in life. Nothing is too insignificant or unimportant. Our Lady’s example also says much about the vocation ofo motherhood, something viciously attacked in today’s world.
